Wedding Season

Wedding season is around the corner!

The band is continuing to accept bookings for the spring and summer, as many people are getting ready to walk down the aisle. My only guaranteed weekend off this year will be at my sister's wedding, when I'll be a guest and not working!

A number of people ask us about ceremony music these days. Some people like a different twist on the ceremony music, so they like to have some romantic jazz music instead of the more traditional music. And for us, it allows us to be a bigger part of the day - of course, that comes with more pressure, but it also means we'll be remembered more too. "At Last" is one of the favourites at wedding ceremonies, due to its enchanting melody.

And that leads us afterwards to the reception. We sometimes share this duty with a DJ, where we'll provide the cocktail or dinner music, and the DJ will kick off the dance. However, we've also played entire nights with people dancing to us, which is fun for us too.
